God’s Warrior Prayer For Victory

Gracious God, I acknowledge that You are worthy of all honor, glory and praise. I am thankful for the victorious work of Your Son, Jesus Christ at Calvary for me. I appropriate His victory for myself now as I willingly surrender every area of my life to Your will. Thank you for the forgiveness and righteousness that has been given to me as Your adopted child. I trust in Your protection and provision daily. I know that your love for me never ceases. I rejoice in Your victory, my Lord. In faith I stand and I commit myself to live obediently for You my King. I desire that my fellowship with You become greater. Reveal to me those things that grieve You and enables the enemy to secure an advantage in my life. I need the Holy Spirit's powerful ministry in my life; bringing conviction of sin, repentance of heart, strengthening my faith and increasing perseverance in resisting temptation. Help me to die to self and walk in the victory of the new creation You have provided for me. Let the fruits of the Spirit flow out of my life so that You will be glorified through my life. I know that it is Your will that I should stand firm and resist all of the enemy's work against me. Help me to discern the attacks upon my thoughts and emotions. Enable me to stand upon Your Word and resist all the accusations, distortions and condemnations that are hurled against me. It is my desire to be transformed through the renewing of my mind, so that I will not compromise with the ways of the world, or yield to the enemy's attacks, but be obedient to Your will. I draw upon those spiritual resources that You have provided me and I attack and rebuke the strongholds and plans of the enemy that have been put in place against me. I command in the name of Jesus Christ that the enemy must release my mind, will, emotions and body completely. They have been yielded to the Lord and I belong to Him. Lord, enable me to become the person You created me to be. Help me as I pray to be strong in faith. Show me how to apply Your Word in my life each day. I know that I wear the full armor of God when I am committed to and stand firmly upon Your Word. I want You to have the supreme place in my life. I surrender myself completely to You, Lord. You are always faithful and You extend Your grace to me constantly, even when I do not realize it. I claim Your promise of forgiveness, cleansing and healing in its fullness. In faith, I receive the victory today that you have already put in place for me. I do this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior with a grateful heart. AMEN

Dr. Frederick O. Murph, the author of The Power of Spiritual Thought: You Are What You Think, has ministered from coast to coast for over 30 years. He has been a spiritual advisor, bible teacher, and counselor to hundreds of individuals and families.

A Legacy of Service

Reverend Doctor Frederick O. Murph comes from a long line of ministers. Both his father and grandfather were Pastor’s in the African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Church and ministered both in the church and in the community at large.

Like Nehemiah, God has used Dr. Murph to rebuild and renovate His temple. From his very first church in 1978, St. Stephen's A.M.E. in Elkridge, Maryland, Dr. Murph has renovated and revitalized the churches which he has served. He has completed multi-million dollar renovations and additions in his 30 year ministry and has not left the church until those renovations were not only complete but paid for.

His ministry has not only served to rebuild the temple, but the people of God. While ministry in the church is important, Dr. Murph is always seeking ways to bring God to the masses. He has had several outreach ministries and has hosted numerous radio and television shows.

Television and Radio Ministry

While Pastor of the to First African Methodist Episcopal Church in Oakland, California, Murph also hosted "Community Awareness Forum," which was a live, call-in talk show airing in Oakland. This was a thought-provoking, show that discussed the impact of current events on the community. The show was theologically based and reached people in Oakland, San Francisco, Berkeley, and the surrounding areas.

He also had a radio ministry on KJLH, 102.3 FM for 12 years, which reached over 100,000 people. It was noted as “the most listened to broadcast on Sunday mornings.”

Community Outreach Organizations

Giving back to the African American Community is a legacy passed down from Dr. Murph’s father and grandfather. Dr. Murph has started several non-profit organizations to help those in the community including: the Maxine Waters Emancipation Home for Women; The Florence Brothers After School Program; The Mesearu-Ephriam-Villaraigosa Free Legal Clinic; and The Vernon R. Byrd Child Development Center. These organizations serve the community with the same passion that Dr. Murph himself has for the people.

Subject: FW: My Attorney

After living what I felt was a 'decent' life, my time on earth came to the end.

The first thing I remember is sitting on a bench in the waiting room of what I thought to be a court house. The doors opened and I was instructed to come in and have a seat by the defense table.

As I looked around I saw the 'prosecutor.' He was a villainous looking gent who snarled as he stared at me. He definitely was the most evil person I have ever seen. I sat down and looked to my left and there sat My Attorney, a kind and gentle looking man whose appearance seemed so familiar to me, I felt I knew Him.

The corner door flew open and there appeared the Judge in full flowing robes. He commanded an awesome presence as He moved across the room I couldn't take my eyes off of Him. As He took His seat behind the bench, He said, 'Let us begin.'

The prosecutor rose and said, 'My name is Satan and I am here to show you why this woman belongs in hell.' He proceeded to tell of lies that I told, things that I stole, and in the past when I cheated others Satan told of other horrible perversions that were once in my life and the more he spoke, the further down in my seat I sank. I was so embarrassed that I couldn't look at anyone, even my own Attorney, as the Devil told of sins that even I had completely forgotten about.

As upset as I was at Satan for telling all these things about me, I was equally upset at My Attorney who sat there silently not offering any form of defense at all. I know I'd been guilty of those things, but I had done some good in my life - couldn't that at least equal out part of the harm I'd done? Satan finished with a fury and said, 'This woman belongs in hell . she is guilty of all that I have charged and there is not a person who can prove otherwise.'

When it was His turn, My Attorney first asked if He might approach the bench. The Judge allowed this over the strong objection of Satan, and beckoned Him to come forward. As He got up and started walking, I was able to see Him in His full splendor and majesty. I realized why He seemed so familiar; this was Jesus representing me, my Lord and my Savior!

He stopped at the bench and softly said to the Judge, 'Hi, Dad,' and then He turned to address the court. 'Satan was correct in saying that this woman had sinned, I won't deny any of these allegations. And yes, the wage of sin is death, and this woman deserves to be punished.' Jesus took a deep breath and turned to His Father with outstretched arms and proclaimed, 'However, I died on the cross so that this person might have eternal life and she has accepted Me as her Savior, so she is Mine.'

My Lord continued with, 'Her name is written in the Book of Life, and no one can snatch her from Me. Satan still does not understand yet. This woman is not to be given justice, but rather mercy.' As Jesus sat down, He quietly paused, looked at His Father and said, 'There is nothing else that needs to be done.' 'I've done it all.'

The Judge lifted His mighty hand and slammed the gavel down. The following words bellowed from His lips ... 'This woman is free.' The penalty for her has already been paid in full. 'Case dismissed.'

As my Lord led me away, I could hear Satan ranting and raving, 'I won't give up, I will win the next one.' I asked Jesus as He gave me my instructions where to go next, 'Have you ever lost a case?' Christ lovingly smiled and said, 'Everyone that has come to Me and asked Me to represent them has received the same verdict as you, ~Paid In Full~

"Stop telling God how big your storm is.

Instead, tell the storm how big your God is!"

This is a Beautiful Story that reminds us that God cares about us and

will take care of us

Be Strong with The Whole of Armor of God

EPHESIANS CHAP 6:10-18

Love this story or not, you will not be able to have tea
in a tea cup again without thinking of this.

There was a couple who took a trip to England to shop in a beautiful antique store to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. They both liked antiques and pottery, and especially teacups.Spotting an exceptional cup, they asked "May we see that? We've never seen a cup quite so beautiful."

As the lady handed it to them,suddenly the teacup spoke, "You don't understand. I have not always been a teacup. There was a time when I was just a lump of red clay. My master took me and rolled me, pounded and patted me over and over and I yelled out,"Don't do that." "I don't like it!" "Let me alone," but he only smiled, and gently said; "Not yet!"

Then WHAM! I was placed on a spinning wheel and suddenly I was made to suit himself and then he put me in the oven. I never felt such heat. I yelled and knocked and pounded at the door.

"Help! Get me out of here!" I could see him through the opening and I could read his lips as he shook his head from side to side, 'Not yet'.

When I thought I couldn't bear it another minute, the door opened. He carefully took me out and put me on he shelf, and I began to cool. Oh, that felt so good! "Ah, this is much better," I thought. But, after I cooled he picked me up and he brushed and painted me all over. The fumes
were horrible. I thought I would gag. 'Oh, please, "Stop it, Stop, I cried." He only shook his head and said, Not yet!'.

Then suddenly he puts me back in to the oven. Only it was not like the first one. This was twice as hot and I just knew I would suffocate. I begged. I pleaded. I screamed. I cried. I was convinced I would never make it. I was ready to give up. Just then the door opened and he took me out and again placed me on the shelf, where I cooled and waited and waited, wondering, "What's he going to do to me next?"

An hour later he handed me a mirror and said, 'Look at yourself.' And I did. I said, "That's not me; that couldn't be me. It's beautiful. I'm beautiful!!!"

Quietly he spoke: "I want you to remember. I know it hurt to be rolled and pounded and patted, but had I just left you alone, you'd have dried up. I know it made you dizzy to spin around on the wheel, but if I had stopped, you would have crumbled. I know it hurt and it was hot and disagreeable in the oven, but if I hadn't put you there, you would have cracked. I know the fumes were bad when I brushed and painted you all over, but if I hadn't done that, you never would have hardened. You would not have had any color in your life. If I hadn't put you back in that second oven, you wouldn't have survived for long because the hardness would not have held. Now you are a finished product. Now you are what I had in mind when I first began with you."

The moral of this story is this: God knows what He's doing for each of us. He is the potter, and we are His clay. He will mold us and make
us and expose us to just enough pressures of just the right kinds that we may be made into a flawless piece of work to fulfill His good,
pleasing and perfect will.

So when life seems hard, and you are being pounded and patted and pushed almost beyond endurance; when your world seems to be spinning out of control; when you feel like you are in a fiery furnace of trials; when life seems to "stink", try this.

Brew a cup of your favorite tea in your prettiest tea cup, sit down and think on this story and then, have a little talk with the Potter

About the Author- Dr. Frederick O Murph "The Power Of Spiritual Thought, You Are What You Think!!"

Dr. Murph has over 30 years of experience as an effective spiritual counselor and guide, Dr. Murph's ministry continues to provide spiritual counseling through anointed sermons, bible study and one-on-one sessions with individuals and families; over 3500 counseling sessions dealing with relationship matters, bereavement and youth concerns. Dr. Murph is a spiritual advisor to politicians, entertainers, entrepreneurs and fellow ministers.

During his undergraduate studies at American University in Washington, D.C., his dual major consisted of courses in Sociology and Religion. While excelling in his sociology courses, he was selected for an internship with the Chairman of the Sociology Department. After a number of graduate level courses in Sociology, Dr. Murph developed a broader understanding of people and how they relate to one another within the framework of society. While Sociology equipped him with the understand of man's relationship with society, the Religion major provided him with a solid theological foundation and understanding of man's spiritual relationship (connection) with God.

During his 3 year matriculation at Howard University Divinity School in Washington, D.C., he received extensive clinical pastoral training and education at Howard University Hospital. The hospital's divinity training included a holistic approach to medicine. Divinity students (ministers) were on medical teams with psychologists, interns, and social workers; each member of the team had a specific expertise and responsibility. The divinity students were called upon to spiritually diagnose and counsel patients based on conversations with them. The divinity students' spiritual discernment was also used to determine the underlying cause of the patient's current condition in the hospital and the mental wards.

The aforementioned academic training and the substantial experience associated with being a pastor for over 30 years further qualifies Dr. Murph to write this book.

This is GREAT!!!!!

B.A.D.

While shopping at a local Wal-Mart, a woman spotted a man with an acronym on his shirt that had B.A.D. Being the person that she was (curious), she stopped the man and asked, "What does B.A..D... Stand for?" And trust me; you'll be amazed at what his response was. He replied B.A.D. Stands for: "Blessed And Delivered". That thought stuck with her as she finished doing her shopping that day. So she came up with a little advice for you today.

1. When the enemy tries to attack you, beB.A.D.

2. When things don't seem to be going right on your job, know that you are B.A.D.
3. When things are not looking good in your marriage, beB.A.D.
4. When folks scandalize your name, just beB.A.D.
5. Get with somebody who you know that you can beB.A.D.With!!!

Finding Victory through Struggle

Many people think that once they are saved, once they have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior that they will no longer have to deal with the same issues in life as everyone else. Being a member of the family of God means that we are entitled to the abundant life promised by God. However, that does not mean that we will no longer have to deal with issues and struggles of life.

Dealing with Struggle

The life of a Christian is not an easy one. There will be times in life when we must deal with temptations, suffering for our beliefs, the jealousy of other people, and even our own anger. However, through unceasing prayer and careful study of the Word of God, we can experience God’s victory in our lives.

Choosing Victory

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:57

We can choose to be victorious over our struggles. By following Jesus, we have victory over sin and death. We can choose to pray and study diligently the Word of God or we can choose to let anger, disappointments, and the jealousy of other people take over our thoughts and keep us from the promises of God.

Changing the Way We Think

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7 Simply put, the thoughts that we entertain (sow) are the outer and sometimes inner experiences, which will eventually be manifested (reaped) in our lives.”

Only by sowing seeds of the word of God and diligent prayer, can we reap the harvest of God’s victory and abundance in our lives. The more we sow to please God, the more we will be rewarded by Him. However, the reverse is also true. The more we sow thoughts of anger, hatred, and discord, the more we will reap those things in our lives. We will always have struggles and issues to deal with, but by changing the way we think, we can live victorious and fruitful lives.

This is a wonderful example of how God watches over us.

Malachi 3:3 says: 'He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.'

This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.

One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.

That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining Silver.

As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities

The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says: 'He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver.' She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined.

The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed..

The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, 'How do you know when the silver is fully refined?'

He smiled at her and answered, 'Oh, that's easy -- when I see my image in it.'

If today you are feeling the heat of the fire , remember that God has his eye son you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.

!Pass this on right now. This very moment, someone needs to know that God is watching over them

And, whatever they're going through, they'll be a better person in the end.

'Life is a coin. You can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
