Prayer for Victory!!

God’s Warrior Prayer For Victory

Gracious God, I acknowledge that You are worthy of all honor, glory and praise. I am thankful for the victorious work of Your Son, Jesus Christ at Calvary for me. I appropriate His victory for myself now as I willingly surrender every area of my life to Your will. Thank you for the forgiveness and righteousness that has been given to me as Your adopted child. I trust in Your protection and provision daily. I know that your love for me never ceases. I rejoice in Your victory, my Lord. In faith I stand and I commit myself to live obediently for You my King. I desire that my fellowship with You become greater. Reveal to me those things that grieve You and enables the enemy to secure an advantage in my life. I need the Holy Spirit's powerful ministry in my life; bringing conviction of sin, repentance of heart, strengthening my faith and increasing perseverance in resisting temptation. Help me to die to self and walk in the victory of the new creation You have provided for me. Let the fruits of the Spirit flow out of my life so that You will be glorified through my life. I know that it is Your will that I should stand firm and resist all of the enemy's work against me. Help me to discern the attacks upon my thoughts and emotions. Enable me to stand upon Your Word and resist all the accusations, distortions and condemnations that are hurled against me. It is my desire to be transformed through the renewing of my mind, so that I will not compromise with the ways of the world, or yield to the enemy's attacks, but be obedient to Your will. I draw upon those spiritual resources that You have provided me and I attack and rebuke the strongholds and plans of the enemy that have been put in place against me. I command in the name of Jesus Christ that the enemy must release my mind, will, emotions and body completely. They have been yielded to the Lord and I belong to Him. Lord, enable me to become the person You created me to be. Help me as I pray to be strong in faith. Show me how to apply Your Word in my life each day. I know that I wear the full armor of God when I am committed to and stand firmly upon Your Word. I want You to have the supreme place in my life. I surrender myself completely to You, Lord. You are always faithful and You extend Your grace to me constantly, even when I do not realize it. I claim Your promise of forgiveness, cleansing and healing in its fullness. In faith, I receive the victory today that you have already put in place for me. I do this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior with a grateful heart.AMEN

REMEMBERING THOSE WHO HAVE GIVEN THEIR LIVES FOR OTHERS

We Remember the many brave men and women who have given their lives through the history of our country to protect us from danger and harm. We salute all those who served in the military, the police and the fire departments. We also remember all those who sustained injury in mind and/or body in the course of their service. Let us pause and remember that God's Spirit fills the whole world, from the east to the west, from the desert to the mountains. If you never had to pray, How would you know that I am a Deliverer?

If you never had a trial, How could you call yourself an overcomer?

If you never felt sadness, How would you know that I am a Comforter?

If you never made a mistake, How would you know that I am a forgiver?

If you knew all, How would you know that I will answer your questions??

If you never were broken, Then how would you know that I can make you whole?

The Legacy

Dr. Frederick O. Murph comes from a long line of Pastors that have led congregations, both large and small. He is the son of the Late Reverend Henry Wendell Murph and the grandson of the late James Washington Murph. These incredible role models have shaped the Pastor, leader, and man that Dr. Frederick O. Murph is today.

Bishop Henry Wendell Murph

Henry Murph was one of the longest serving Bishops in the History of the African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Church. He was known throughout the Los Angeles, California area as mentor to area Pastors and as friend to everyone. He had a ministry of reconciliation, not just with God, but among brothers and sisters in Christ.

He had a heart for other African Americans and constantly strove to bring the love of God to the people, whether they were within the church or not. He believed in people and always looked for the best in everyone. This spirit of reconciliation earned him the Governor of California’s Distinguished Service Award for his efforts at peace during the Watts riots of 1968.

Dr. Murph learned from his father how to truly love everyone, not just those who are like you. It is this spirit of love that pervades everything that he does and was the catalyst for writing his life-changing book, The Power of Spiritual Thought, You Are What You Think.

Reverend James Washington Murph

James Washington Murph began the work of ministry at the age of twenty and within a year was licensed to preach. He received degrees from Claflin University, Gammon Theological Seminary, and Kittrell College. In 1888 he joined the A.M.E. Conference and for many years preached throughout North and South Carolina. During his time he erected three churches and was known as an effective Pastor and Preacher.

Dr. Murph learned from his grandfather that leadership is one of the most important qualities that a man of God can have. Strong leadership has been essential to the fruitful ministry that Dr. Murph has had over the last 30 years.

The Legacy Lives On

Effective leadership and love for the people: these are the important lessons that he has learned from the lives and ministries of his father and grandfather. These two qualities have made him an effective teacher, preacher, pastor, and now author.

Building a Strong Spiritual Life

The building blocks of a strong Spiritual life are the studying and hearing the Word of God, prayer, and excellence of Spirit. Developing these disciplines is not always easy. In chapter 7 of his book, The Power of Spiritual Thought: You ARE What you THINK, Dr. Frederick O. Murph tells us: “The True Spiritual Believer must be aware of the fact that there is a clear and present danger associated with being Excellent for God. Simply put, men will hate you. “

Mark 16:1-8
When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body. Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, "Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?"

But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.

"Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.' "

Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.(NIV)

Jimmy Russell & Because of Christ was formed in February 1995. It was then, that the Lord gave Jimmy a vision and a word to gather a group of people who shared the same enthusiasm for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through praise, worship and song.

This group would also prove themselves to be a peculiar people; set apart; to be used for the building up of the Kingdom of God all with a firm foundation and strong belief that Jesus is Lord. The group is made up of singers and musicians from various churches and denominations.

Praise The Lord Pastor, your physical and spiritual Family, Brethrens and all that labor with you in the ministry. I am absolutely happy to send you my heartfelt greetings praying that all is fine with you and that the Lord is in control. All word we dry up, and all spirit we blow up, spirit and word together we grow Amen! . I feel as if my feet are not touching the ground because of what I have received from you and to crown it all the wonderful beautiful and uplifting conversion in the word of your website. I was so touched and I really embrace your life changing website I have read it and it has indeed convicted my heart and a burden has been laid in me until I have been forced through the grace of the Lord to write to you, thank and encourage you for what the Lord is using you for. I will never cease to pray for you and I wish you were here to help us grow to the stature of our Lord Jesus Christ .We are on our knees praying for you so that you may assist us to know more about the riches of Christ in Heaven. You are needed brothers and sisters. You really have what we need for our spiritual growth. Share our love with the brethren there in the ministry. We love each of you and we hold you dearly in our hearts .we plead the blessings of the Lord upon you as we will continue to pray for you that God may grant you insight and above all discernment. In case of an Emergency, Call on the Most High, God

Dial 911, which translates to Psalms 91:1

Psalms 91 vs 1-16

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare of the Lord. He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I am trusting him for he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from the fatal plague. He will shield you with his wings. He will shelter you with his feathers. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor fear the dangers of the day, nor dread the plague that stalks in darkness nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you these evils will not touch you. But you will See it with your eyes you will See how the wicked are punished. If you make the Lord your refuge, If you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your dwelling. For he orders his Angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you with their hands to keep you from striking your foot on a stone. You will trample down lions and poisonous snakes; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet. The Lord Says I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name . When they call on me I will answer I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue them and honor them. I will satisfy them with a long life and give them my salvation.
